- Once more at the Whitney to see a whole floor of Hoppers. I thought the show was far outstanding compared to the "Picasso and American Art" -- that is the say -- the influence of Picasso on the Abstract Expressionists movement in the US. I followed the museum visit with a viewing of the Masters (Impressionists, and 20th century) at Sotheby's, where the Miro and Magritte watercolours and the Chagall oils were OUTSTANDING. Wonder whose collection they will end up in. Please note, collectors, the auction is on the 7th :-)
