Some basic SEO info - I don't agree with them all but the basics are clearly explained

A few comments: ** There's no such thing as an alt tag. The phrase "alt tag" is inaccurate, but making it look like its an actual tag in HTML is even more wrong. The alt attribute of the img tag is what you're looking for. ** Incoming links from .edu and .gov sites do NOT help your ranking any differently than other links. Please let this myth die. ** Many other items here are inaccurate, incomplete or misleading. ** There is some good information here as well, but if you're new to SEO it's hard to pick apart the good from the not-so-good.
