lukeg, there's a bit a difference in how you aim a machine-gun and a nuclear bomb. Not to mention machine-guns don't destroy entire cities and spread radioactive waste.

Nuclear weapons are no worse than machine guns. I'm sure king Arthur would be about as appalled at machine guns as you people are with nukes. Humans do two things by very nature, kill each other, and devise better ways of killing each other. Not particularly happy to think about, but the nuke isn't *fundamentally* different from any other weapon, it's just a different scale.
