Jaz-DarkMemory rated 6 months ago- An artist who does most of his work in crayon. Supposedly developed the skill at a very young age on his own. Oh yeah, he's also autistic. Kind of crazy. I was reading an article on the tendency for those with mental disability to have strange traits, and this guy was one of the people mentioned. Plus on another thread of that search, I found an article on how it appears that language actually harms the development of visual artists or what not.

- Richard Wawro (1952-2006) was a Scottish autistic savant who was prolific in creating artwork. (His attention to light and shadows reminds me of Thomas Kinkade.) Although Richard was not able to function "normally," his life served a purpose and he touched the lives of countless people.
