What the hell is happening in the world? Seriously. These people came from places that were ACTUALLY bad, they came here illegally, and then caught. When deported they physically refused, and were chemically restrained. What should our government done? Ask Columbia for guidance? Ask then nicely to leave and if they say "no", simply say - "oh, okay you can stay"? Get real people. When being deported some people are going to need to be restrained for the protection of the officers, either physically or chemically.

What happened to the government that I learned about in school? We've always known that our government can do some unsavory things when we're not looking, but it seems that during the last few years it has been a constant condition, and many times unnecessary. The United States of America that I grew up with didn't torture, it didn't drug people, it didn't lock them up and throw away the key. I want THAT America back. From the page: "The government's forced use of antipsychotic drugs, in people who have no history of mental illness, includes dozens of cases in which the "pre-flight cocktail," as a document calls it, had such a potent effect that federal guards needed a wheelchair to move the slumped deportee onto an airplane."

The US government has been injecting deportees with antipsychotic drugs even if they have no history of mental illness. From the page: "Such episodes are among more than 250 cases The Washington Post has identified in which the government has, without medical reason, given drugs meant to treat serious psychiatric disorders to people it has shipped out of the United States since 2003 -- the year the Bush administration handed the job of deportation to the Department of Homeland Security's new Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, known as ICE."

WOW! From the page: "The U.S. government has injected hundreds of foreigners it has deported with dangerous psychotropic drugs against their will to keep them sedated during the trip back to their home country"
