I fish, therefore I am. Wonder if these knots will work to tie the bait onto the volleyball net to catch that alligator? Question: if you tie chicken to a volleyball net, and string it across the bayou to catch Boudreaux the alligator, will Boudreaux taste like chicken?

The problem isthe "improved" clinch knot is not much better than the plain clinch knot. An improperly tied clinch knot is much weaker than a clinch knot. It is much easier to just tie a regular clinch knot. Make sure you always moisten the line before seating it.
