omgjiddle discovered 24 months ago- Really good alternative to LJ, only downfall is that it isn't fully customisable. That would bring it up to amazing rather than great.

- Sounds good as a blogging tool, but I guess it's not gonna work for me. SU and Last.fm already take a lot of time from me. :P

- Looks interesting, but between Last.fm, SU, Myspace (ack) and my own site, I doubt I'll get around to using it.

- A very simple blogging platform (thanks Kee-Ari for the term). I heard about on "Inside the Net" podcast, where one of the creators said she wanted something easy enough for her mother to use. That they've done. It's warm and cuddly, has a nice community and is going to be opened to the general public on October 26th according to their news. If you are in a hurry, I, too have invites, let me know. I am trying it out in an attempt to get my family active. Haven't had a lot of success. They are trying to keep it all simple as possible, but maybe someday....
