    http://www.vox.com/ I think I would like this host, but they make the invitees join their site to see your private blog. This site has a 'community' feel to it, so it's kind of like a social network. PROS: choose privacy of blog posts & invite who you want to. CONS:The people you want to see your blog need to join the service.

    Vox is a social blogging community where audio, video, photos, and groups are seamlessly integrated together. It may be a clich but you really have to see it to believe it. It's the most truly unique social networking community to come along since Stumbleupon (with the possible exception of last.fm).
