The HIV retrvirus has indeed been isolated and there is overwhelming evidence and documentation that this is the virus that leads to AIDS if untreated. Sites like this just increase the stigma and fear surrounding one of the worlds greatest killers

 jacktrace rated 27 months agoaids, science - Most people who disagree with this site barely read it. There is far more complete information here than you'll ever get from doctors or the media. hiv/aids theory is full of holes and people are dying because of it. Stop the insanity.

Claiming that the HIV virus wasn't isolated in 2003 is plain wrong. There are thousands of HIV genomes isolated from patients in GenBank (NCBI) - publicly available.
Anyway - if people think that science can't help them treat their HIV infection / AIDS, fell free. These 'scepticts' will normally disappear from the general population in a reletively short time.
I would probably prefer antiviral drugs - and risk the "toxic effects" :)

- I hate giving bad reviews but this one deserves two thumbs down! It's not only bad, it's harmful to efforts to control the epidemic! References and quotes are weak and outdated.

- HIV has never been isolated? Tell that to all the scientist working on drug-resistance characteristics of HIV. That is pure lunacy and garbage. Get your facts straight. HIV has been isolated. Repeatedly. Do you really want to put your name to such a false claim?
If HIV is not isolated, how is it that we have the sequence, and know the drug-resistance mutations that occur? Come on, this is complete nonsense. You don't have to be scientifically trained to think rationally. As for your argument that people diagnosed with AIDS have another disease, that is not unreasonable because AIDS does not kill - it slowly destroys the immune system, leaving the patient vulnerable to opportunistic infections. I challenge you to prove that HIV has never been isolated. I know that it has.
