Yes... go to a small claims court WITHOUT a lawyer on your side and when they show up with their lawyers, you'll be paying them; however if you get a lawyer the upwards of $8,000 (from the video) you'll be getting from the telemarketing company will put at dent into what you owe your lawyer for his time. It's a lose/lose situation. mroblivious1bmf is right, in fact any company or school that has ever had your information is likely to sell it (providing they have no qualms about doing so) since 1) they already have it because you gave it to them and 2) every business needs to make revenue somehow. Best thing I can say for those of us who have land lines, get the "phone zapper" and it will show your number as disconnected/bad number to the auto-dialers that some of the telemarketers use.

This should be common knowledge to everyone! They should answer all of those questions when first calling you.
