AsymptoticFaery discovered 3 months ago- I have yet to taste a mangosteen but this is certainly on my to-do list. I love the idea for creating a zig-zag opening pattern and breaking the shell in half to decoratively expose the flesh. I think the empty half of the shell could have something else in it. Perhaps a light garnish, gourmet dessert condiment or maybe even a small, snugly-fitting, scoop of complementary flavored sorbet, gelato or ice cream.
