: "Both are impossible. The Americans didn't free either Nazi death camp. (Regarding Obama's great uncle's war experience, the Obama team later said he'd meant the camp at Buchenwald.)"

I wonder if Mr O actually knows his history and is making efforts to be "politically correct" or if he really doesn't know. He's made a point of "being a student of history" so should be held to a higher standard than those who just have their undergrad history studies to fall back on. Also, since his aids write all of his speeches (with his input) there really isn't any excuse other than PC for the errors.

Imagine this constant barrage of stupidy coming out of anyone else. If W had costantly made such dumbass mistakes he would have torn to shreds by the the Obamamedia. The hypocrisy is so thick you could walk across it.

A President's retention of his undergraduate education is only relevant insofar as it affects his leadership ability and his appeal to foreign peoples. The world loves Obama, so his individual understanding of history is irrelevant; when he's not giving speeches to adoring crowds, he can rely on his aides.

wow 600,000? I'm sure this all should have been included in his speech with the upmost accuracy. It's obviously pertinent and quite far from semanticism.

power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. ~ John Emerich Edward Dalberg Acton.... I tend to think that Obama can be trusted as much as most politicians, that is, not at all.
