    I could look at his work for hours. He captured atmosphere and mood in such unique ways. Café Terrace on the Place du Forum, Arles, at Night is my favorite of all paintings.

    This is a WONDERFUL, comprehensive site. The first place I go as an art educator when I want information or visual resources on Van Gogh. I wish every great artist had a site devoted to them like this one.

    Van Gogh got through to me the very 1st time I saw a repro of Starry Night.. Read his story... Purchased repros..... Grew fonder of of the man and his work which so moves us. The collection in Amsterdam's Rijks Muzeum, (no repros there!) made me weep mute tears in sadness and joy! Visit the Originals - they have the Soul!

    Van Gogh is one of my favorite artists. Tragic but very interesting life and beautiful works of art.
