jholly1968 discovered 16 months ago- I have to stump for Operation Smile, because I was born with a cleft lip and palate...and had I not been born in the US, there but for the Grace of God...I was lucky. I look reasonably normal, and have no speech impediment whatsoever, and really the only chronic problem I still have is recurring inner ear infections. I am blessed.
