jfurey rated 3 months ago- I think the picture of this fine gentleman waiting for his bus says more than I ever could.

stickypearls rated 7 months ago- Uh... I don't know how people are forced to learn things they're not wanting to learn in college.. take classes you are interested in, duh. And reading a book isn't the same as being taught by a world renowned professor and their are advantages to moving away from the comfort zone of your hometown.

chancemoney rated 7 months ago- Free Education! Only motivated individuals need apply.

- I'm not going to college for an education, I'm going there for a piece of paper that says "This guy deserves to make enough money to actually live on."

BytMiHrd rated 12 months ago- Yeah, you can get a lot of wisdom from life. That's true. But the reality is over 75 percent of jobs out there today require a bachelors degree at least. And for that you HAVE to go to college. It's just like the old saying goes. You have to spend money to make money.

Innomen rated 12 months ago- Ignore the slave minds. They have been grown to work for someone other than themselves. This piece is more important than that. Ray Bradbury was self educated.

Ipsedixit37 rated 12 months ago- There's more to college than just their "product." For many people it is the first time they are on their own, and it is a safe place to make some mistakes (i.e. paying rent late to the dorms, etc...) Not everyone needs it, but it's not a bad idea. Plus university libraries usually have higher quantity and quality of information.
