bluezfire discovered 28 months ago- Read this primer on cycling shorts so you have a good understanding of how they came to be and, hopefully, realize that they *do* serve a purpose (other than making us look really dorky to the general public). I've heard arguments both for and against wearing bike shorts. Today, I did something I normally don't do: I went for a bike ride in a pair of cut-off jean shorts. Since it was going to be an hour or so ride through a park with my husband and 8 year old (who just learned to ride his bike a couple of weeks ago), I thought I'd be safe. Wrong! I sit here sporting two blistered areas in parts unknown (to anyone but me and my husband) caused by seams. Needless to say, it will be 100% bike shorts for this girl from now on. Lesson learned (the hard way).
