Himalaya discovered 4 months ago- More than 1,300 years have passed since Hsuan Tsang, a Chinese monk, made his journey to India. He journeyed across China to India in search of Buddhist texts so that they could be translated. His lifetime accomplishments profoundly influenced Chinese culture. Hsuan Tsang's journey to the west contributed enormously to the cultural flow between East and West Asia. Though numerous generations have risen and fallen, the intellectual treasure and cultural legacy bequeathed to us by Hsuan Tsang shines as brilliantly today as in times past.
