 ChaosKitty rated 43 months ago- I feel like a bit of a hypocrite giving this a thumbs-up because I am so addicted to TV myself...I'm a hopeless case but it's not too late for others. Go, turn off your TVs. Leave me here with my Survivor and Project Greenlight reruns. I'll be fine...really, I will...go on, save yourselves.

- Turn that shit off. I haven't gone out of my way to watch TV in quite some time now, at least 3 years.

- excellent idea. i got rid of cable, and now am down to 0-1 hour of tv per day; actually, no tv yesterday, i think. the aap (american association of pediatrics) recommends no tv prior to 2 years old. i know it's hard, but a good recommendation. afterwards, limit to 1 hour or less.

- Impetus to get up and shut off the t.v. Or in some cases, you don't need to get up. Use that remote!
