krisking rated 21 months ago- I have no illusions of expertise in world economics or foreign relations. I don't have an advance degree in government or politics (although I am a master when it comes to West Wing trivia). But still, this picture makes you wonder. Hmmm... But I suppose we were too busy dealing with our own national catastrophe. *(1 2/12/06) I recently received a message from nibbler789 (thank you) and he directed me to the link http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/4145259.stm. It revealed that the data in the top image is incorrect. As of the date the BBC article was written, the US had actually given $350 million in government donations. I don't know if the person who had made the image had gotten the wrong information or if he just forgot to add a zero (which, frankly, changes the point entirely), but BBC news is obviously a much more reliable source. Or the image could have been made when the initial donations were made. Instead of deleting this completely, I wanted to rectify the mistake and I will try to be more careful when posting important information such as this. However, this does not change my opinion on the President. I am still, very much, not a fan.
