rkathleen rated 8 months ago- This site has classic recipes with good photos and easy-to-follow instructions. Binnur suggests substitutions for those who can't find all of the traditional ingredients, which is nice. Some recipes are versions that aren't to my taste (e.g. I prefer a version of yaprak sarmasi that aren't sweet and raisin-y), but such recipes are still useful starting points for creating versions closer to those I like. There are lots of good, flavorful vegetarian recipes, so Binnur doesn't leave anyone hungry. Some recipes are simple to the point of being useless, though -- you don't need instructions to make pre-packaged salep or a simple sandwich. Overall, though, a really nice website!

Delicious looking recipes from Turkey. Turkey's ancient history, interesting cultures and now the Food is the reason I'd like to visit that country. The only problem is every time I read these recipes I get hungry.Thank-you Raven185
vignette rated 17 months ago- These all sound delicious to me, especially the Tomatoes with Feta Cheese in the Oven (Firinda Peynirli Domates), the Tomato Dolma (Domates Dolmasi), and the Gozleme (mostly because they have tomatoes and cheese and...they sound like something I could make ^_^). These are pictures from the site, Binnur's Turkish Cookbook (click each picture for direct links to these recipes):
