Don't just tinker with the healthcare system, banish profit from the delivery of healthcare altogether. Socialize it. Make it a public good. It's a test- ament to the health insurance industry's power that as "universal healthcare" lurches toward the political middle, this proposal seems in some ways more radical than ever. Moore recognizes that if single-payer is ever going to come to America, it's going to be over the insurance companies' dead bodies."

- I simply repeat FlyingRose's review in part: "I have a more radical proposal for you: recognize that almost everything in life is about profit and many times not in the individual's best interest - and that includes Western medicine. If you wish to be truly healthy, medical care is not the answer. Find the oldest, healthiest, most active people in the world and you'll find people who are NOT on prescription drugs, do NOT eat the S.A.D. (Standard American Diet), DO eat fresh fruits & vegetables - often from their own gardens."

If you want to be healthy I highly recommend the book A Drug-Free Approach to Healthcare by Dr. Tanton at http://www.drtanton.com. The site is sometimes down; however, it is well worth trying again. Blanco-Conejo rated 13 months ago- Go see it, and tell your elected representatives that it is time to "share the pie" on this critical issue.

kathysart rated 13 months ago- Thank you Michael Moore for making your amazing films and all your efforts on behalf of Americans. We should be marching in the streets.

Yw8 rated 13 months ago- I was going to see this movie and now I'm even more motivated to do so.

chronobyte rated 13 months ago- "If you can find money to kill people, you can find money to help people. They found the money to do this war, I don't ever want to hear again that we don't have the money to take care of our own citizens when they get sick."

FAIRYUSER rated 13 months ago- SOMETHING TO SEE

Tim47 rated 13 months ago- I feel so fortunate that we have the National Health Service in Britain and if that means a higher tax burden, then so be it.
