But the right-wing spin machine is doing everything to drown out our voices. It's time we make the majority opinion heard. One way to do that is to get as many names on this petition as possible. Add your name to the petition so we can show that people in every city and town of America feel this way."

Iran stopped its nuclear weapons program in 2003. That's according to a National Intelligence Estimate released earlier this week.
Over the last couple of months, we've seen one presidential candidate after the other say that 'all options are on the table' when it comes to Iran. Now we know that there is clearly no justification for an attack. It's time to put an end to the dangerous saber-rattling that's going on and ask that all the 2008 presidential hopefuls who have taken the 'all options' position take it back. Let them know how you feel by adding your name to our 'Take It Back' petition.
Tell the campaigns to take it back.

- I've been participating in this mostly because it's a "what can it hurt?" type of deal...So far, it has generated a few form-letter responses from my representatives in Congress and not much else... it's almost amusing... I send them a form letter, they send me one back...I think it DOES help to bring the awareness of what the people want to congress, but it's rather like saying "if we all spit into the hole, in a few years we'll have a swimming pool!It can't hurt to try it... it may not help things either though..
