- This is presumably how The Waste Land looked before Pound took a knife to it. Long-winded, self-important and ultimately disappointing. Still, as far as stumbles go, it is okay I guess.

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
~T.S.Eliot, Four Quartets
Cat from inciteful.

rclougherty rated 19 months ago- let's raise the discussion level and bring in a little T. S. Eliot! This page may be taking a poetic turn.

KingBoy rated 22 months ago- 'We shall not cease from exploration And the end of all our exploring Will be to arrive where we started And know the place for the first time.' From "Four Quartets" by T. S. Eliot, still a luminous read. Presented here in an attractive format and accompanied by notes.
