- Transhumanism is important to our future as a species. Through technology and the responsible use thereof, we can become more than human. We can become something better than Human. We can become smarter, stronger, faster people. To deny the chance to control our own evolution and direct it towards making ourselves better as a species is irresponsible, to say the least.

- Here is a book for all you softy hopeless types. Say's here that we will become some sort of entropy fighting nanotubual effervescent space creatures...(I didn't actually read the book). Sounds like death to me! This is why Christians, Muslims et al. piss me off. They talk about some stupid rapture or ethereal spirit...but why wait for a boat that ain't comin? Where is your creativity my Jesus friends? Allah, do you have a space vessel? I doubt it! See folks, the real shitty thing about religion is that all you ever seem to get is dogma, death, and most sadly...boredom. Religious folk need fresh ideas. I suggest this book...even though it is only half-thoughtout bullshit...like the bible but with better pictures.

Have some perspective, agriculture and nutrition science could be seen as humanity's technology being used to better ourselves. just look at average height after the introduction of agriculture. We haven't been the same species since we stopped eating raw meat, and started drinking milk. Like it or not, what you think of as a "human" is already heavily modified by technology.
