lerryn discovered 45 months ago- are you colour blind?

kilooneniner rated 8 weeks ago- I see a seven. Does that mean I'm color blind in one eye?

PvtPain66k rated 2 months ago- Keen.

somnia rated 2 months ago- Do you see 5 or 2? 5=normal vision, 2=colorblind

siriusflow rated 7 months ago- very interesting...

- The last test is more a question of what drew your eye first. I saw a 2, but after I read the caption I could pick out the 5.

- When I was looking at the circle that should show "5" if you're not colorblind and "2" if you are, I saw a "5" before I read the caption. When I looked back, I saw a "2" and had a lot of trouble finding the "5" again! None of the other dots were mysteries to me; I could plainly read all of the numbers correctly, and I was able to rediscover the "5" in the last one. Very weird.

The individual with normal color vision will see a 5 revealed in the dot pattern. An individual with Red/Green (the most common) color blindness will see a 2 revealed in the dots.

obmas rated 22 months ago- I am red/green color blind...and a couple others. For example - this picture supposedly has a number in it and I can't see it. The funny thing about being color blind is what happens when people find out you are color blind and then they ask; "Whats it like?" And my response has grown into something witty like; "Uh, compared to what? You idiot. I was born like this. I don't know. What's regular color vision like?" and then I laugh cause they feel uncomfortable. Geez, I'm a dick. The running joke amongst my 'friends' is that I'm not colorblind, I'm 'color screwed', that I was simply taught the wrong names for colors as a child. For those of you who are curious if you are color blind, follow the link and see amazing things that I and my fellow handicapped brethren can't.
