America tells Britain kidnapping (extra-ordinary rendition) is an acceptable method (when extradition treaties fail) for bringing suspected criminals to trial. This assertion should serve to make bounty hunting a growth industry. If one country is doing it they are all going to want to do it. Get ready for the return of the Old West with posses with favorite titles like "Blackwater" blundering about the international landscape grabbing everybody and his brother for interrogations.

Interesting article..Eventually, we won't have an ally left in the world. Read on: "From the page: "Until now it was commonly assumed that US law permitted kidnapping only in the "extraordinary rendition" of terrorist suspects. The American government has for the first time made it clear in a British court that the law applies to anyone, British or otherwise, suspected of a crime by Washington."

What.. the ... fuck?? This is really, quite, beyond the pale. AMERICA has told Britain that it can "kidnap" British citizens if they are wanted for crimes in the United States. A senior lawyer for the American government has told the Court of Appeal in London that kidnapping foreign citizens is permissible under American law because the US Supreme Court has sanctioned it.

Can you imagine the reaction if the Iranian government kidnapped American citizens in the USA? Bush's government has now claimed the right to kidnap anyone from any country and take them to the USA. Heil Bush!
