what a brave little girl. I'm so happy she was able to break free of this victimization and violence and inspired that she wants to do the kind of work that will benefit young girls when she grows up. Good for Nujood.

This is sad on many levels. This young girl was very courageous. We would only hope that the laws in these countries would change more quickly. Yes, emancipation for girls/women. They have no power! What the heck does a man want with a "child"? Yes, I know, here they are called pedophiles!!
