VX5MMCPO rated 20 months ago- Excellent site. I cannot wonder if some feeling of evil can be felt at some of the places pictured here. One other thing that the Third Reich created was evil. The corpses, and rubble have been removed from our view, the misery and evil remain. How would it feel to live in one of these buildings that was part of such horror?
Motorfix rated 21 months ago- This site was of great help as I made two trips to germany lasy year. I never would have found Mittlebau Dora in Thuringen with out some research first!

These photos give a "then and now" perspective, in many cases, a virtual tour of the sites. I was inspired to write this page by a collection of photos taken by my father, U.S. Army Air Forces Lt. Delbert R. Walden, when he was stationed in Germany in 1945-46. Unfortunately, many of my father's photos are unidentified ... some of these are shown on the "Lost Sites" page. If anyone can identify these locations, I'd be very grateful!"
Herald rated 37 months ago- The Third Reich produced three things in quantity: corpses, misery and rubble. Pictures of a lot of the rubble can be found here (as can much evidence of the corpses and the misery too) along with some interesting survivals and fascinating "then and now" comparisons. An extraordinary collection of images.
Matt361 rated 37 months ago- Quite interesting!
Alienor rated 37 months ago- I went to visit the Zeppelintribüne a few years ago. It was actually rather disappointing, but something I'm glad I've seen.
