Throw the tv out and do something else. But I guess it should not be sitting in front of the computer screen.

A friend sent me this article thinking I would appreciate it; her assumption was correct! :) The author gives good financial reasons for breaking the television viewing habit, and suggests excellent replacements for it. I quit watching television aboutseveneight years ago and remain convinced that my decision to do so was the correct one. I haven't missed viewing it one iota in the many weeks and months that have transpired since, and have no desire to turn one on ever again. [To be honest however, I do watch some of those short video clips (many from television - present and past) that one stumbles upon in abundance on the web.] [Last posted on May 8, 2008.]
