ajanelle rated 6 months ago- LOL-- oh boy. And lol at the complaints about this article. It woulda been even funnier if somebody had thought the article was real, but I'm still amused for the hour or so. Really, who can say the idea hasn't already popped into their mind?

This is like a win win situation. The torch stays lit and the monks get to protest. Everybody's happy:)

- That's... not even funny. That's horrible and wrong.
tisstupid rated 6 months ago- I gave this a thumbs up because I think this fear was running in the back of everyone's minds when they saw the protests. I imagined someone was going to grab the torch and set themselves on fire. I think this article, though a bit tasteless, sends an important message. The torch that is supposed to be a symbol of peace has instead become a symbol of oppression.
Speedoman rated 6 months ago- Yes! One of the best Onion articles ever.
