Founders of The Justice Project are veterans of war who have risked their lives fighting injustice. Their military experiences left them with an understanding of human suffering and a desire to leave a legacy of fairness for future generations. TJP's current programs are the Campaign for Criminal Justice Reform and Veterans for America.

- Let's not kid ourselves, we still have a very good justice system. It puts many industrialized nations to shame. But there is still a lot of room for improvement, especially in cases where the death penalty is involved.
