The Animal Rescue Site focuses the power of the Internet on a specific need -- providing food for some of the 27 million unwanted animals given to shelters in the US every year. Over 10 million animals are put to death every year in the US alone because they are unwanted, abandoned, or abused.
Each click on the purple "Feed an Animal in Need" button at The Animal Rescue Site provides food for an animal at North Shore Animal League America or at one of the Fund For Animals' world renowned animal sanctuaries, including the Black Beauty Ranch in Texas and the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in California.
Funding for food is paid by site sponsors, whose banners appear after you click the purple button, and goes to our aforementioned charity partners.
The number of animals helped by the site depends on the number of visitors to The Animal Rescue Site. Please click every day, and encourage friends and family members to do so as well.

- congratulations! A real animal lover. It's a great site, I've been using that web site for 6 years. I made it my home page and can click it every morning. But not only for animals, children, breast cancer, rain forests etc. needs help... You'll spend only 10 seconds....

This is a good cause and better yet, it doesn't cost you anything. You just have to click the Fund Food For Animals button. Each click provides the value of .6 bowls of food and care to animals in shelters. Every click counts and while .6 doesn't seem like a lot, it adds up if a lot of people are clicking.
Click every day! They even have an area where you can sign up to get e-mail reminders to click.
