    to summarize: the water section is sourceless & most likely consists completely of misleading statistics, and the coke section is comprised of bullshit and urban legends

    It's pH might be 2.8, but the bodies ability to buffer this is superb. The actual change in your bodies pH from drinking a coke will be negligible.

    From the page: "2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it will be gone in two days. " Nonsenes like this destroys all credibility the first part of the page might have had.

    Corn syrup has mercury residues. The fructose will increase AGE's and increase leption and insulin resistance. Other than that, it's great. Btw, I have a coke machine at my work where everything is free and I have to admit I have one more than I'll admit...
