Well he was ripped off but how dare he compare himself to migrant workers in the UAE and Bahrain, he's a millionaire and is in a much better condition then the migrant workers. the reason why he didn't make much is because the rickroll videos on youtube are fragmented. Only some of them are actually make money because users downloaded and reuploaded the video - and only the ones that google detected as rick astley and with prs were credited to the royalty, the others probably didn't genreate any revenue as the users probably hadn't opted in to show ads.

Pete Waterman says he was ripped off by Google over Rickrolling. Surely the problem lies with the PRS not negotiating a better deal. Mind you, their attempts to do just that have led to YouTube removing music videos all together...ho hum...
