War is never a pleasant subject; or at least it shouldn't be - but whatever your feelings, it would be a mistake to close your eyes to it. This talk is both amazing and disconcerting at the same time.

This was one of the most cognizant talks about robots, human relations, and war that I have ever listened to. If you like robots give it a listen, its worth it.

In this video, PW Singer asks: Is it our machines â€" or it is us, that is wired for war? Apparently, Hezbollah used 4 different types of drone against Israel (you can be sure that will be getting a mention above) Unmanned slaughter â€" already three incidents where we thought we had bin Laden but turned out not to be the case. In the oncoming technological revolution we may have to redefine what war is, but mostly try to figure out how these new advances in robotics and technology fit into our moral framework and change and use them accordingly. These are problems that are not being dealt with and will most probably catch us off our guard, like so many of our technological feats (the atomic bomb anyone?). Though I hope that will not be the case.
