Forbes, BusinessWeek, The New York Times, Mens Health, you name it. The big guys think that just because they entered in the game early, or because they have some popular print publication backing them up, they can get away with whatever they want. Screw that! I completely agree. I want to navigate the web in as few clicks as possible. And advertising isn't the problem it's when advertising gets in the way. Why force me to watch an ad I don't give a rotten fuck about? You won't do anything except piss me off.

I must agree with this list. Everyone of the items listed almost always makes me leave the site. Not because of an annoyance but more because I am not wading through 10 pages just to read a top ten list. I have also never registered to read a page. Never once, and I never will. Something that isn't on this list that I have noticed recently is the embedded youtube restrictions. The entire 'embedding disabled by request' shit stops me in my tracks. If you aren't going to allow me to watch the embedded video then don't put a god damn play button on the video window.

It's not sickening. Advertising revenue is obviously the main source of income for so so so many sites, and 4/5 of these points are anti-advertising, for no good reason other than slight inconvenience... GRR!!!

I agree wholeheartedly. That kind of crap gets your site blocked.
