    I am often faced with the problem; the virus has made some changes to the system restrictions in order to hide itself from easy detection. These restrictions are most often: show hidden files not working, disabled task manager, disabled firewall and the list goes on. Of course a system reinstall will solve the problems but that is a painstakingly long process
