I find this particularly so for me and more so since Bush assumed the purple when I found that as a white-Evangelical-Southern-Red State citizen I had more in common with what could be called... more

From the page: "Joe dresses, walks outside and takes a deep breath. The air he breathes is clean because some environmentalist wacko liberal fought for the laws to stop industries from polluting our air." Yeah that, or he lives in a prefabricated suburb and is miles away from anything urban, probably like the writer. The point is valid -- though I'd use the term "progressives" because liberal means nothing -- but the smarmy writing manages to make up for it.

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -Teddy Roosevelt

I find this particularly so for me and more so since Bush assumed the purple when I found that as a white-Evangelical-Southern-Red State citizen I had more in common with what could be called Liberal-left of center politics. I found myself at outs with the Conservative movement and their "Christian" supporters and the catch is this: I did not have to change a one of my values. So who moved?

I suppose I should be grateful that all that public transportation and medicare is FREE, too? (Nevermind the income taxes.) And do you really think Social Security is enough to live on? (Psst...it was $10k/yr in 2001 and it's going down...check your facts here). As for thinking...you don't know what the word means.
