Simply awful. After that last experience I wouldn't use it if it was free.

Buying Norton is buying an overpriced virus. It figures it comes with Windows. ;]

Best internet safety and security around. What's nice is that it's user friendly.

If I could give this website one billion thumbs-downs, I would. I can't believe this product comes with Windows. I have never seen this product do anything useful or productive at all. I have, however, seen it crash or slow down my computer literally dozens of times.

I'd rather have a virus on my computer than use any of Symantec's products.I figured I'd try out Norton on my brand new laptop only because it was shipped with it. What a HUGE mistake. That thing totally clogged up my computer, didn't give me an easy way to temporarily disable it, and its own removal tool didn't actually remove all of Symantec's applications when I tried to. Don't waste your money on this crappy piece of software... heck, don't install it even if you get it for free like I did. It'll just make computing hell for you. There's some good FREE anti virus software out there. I use Avast these days and am quite happy with it.
