A rip-off.Just when you think you are about to win a good deal all the 'Bid Butlers' jump in - the auction lasts for another 30 minutes and you have to buy more credits (It's 50p a bid by the way) On a penny auction the company makes £50 for each £1 the item is bid up. So an item selling for £has made them £10000. I have also seen an auction where a bidder spent Over £1600 bidding on a TV that is on Amazon for £750! This is a gambling website and should be regulated in the same way.

Be very careful about joining this site. Facts: The countdown timers are not real. Look at the actual auction end date. It costs 50p per bid, not per auction but per bid. The only things sold are by them. SO it is not a real user auction site, but a surplus dump where I suspect most of the profit comes from the bidding system. CAVEAT EMPTOR.

ok its not a scam or con (well some may disagree) but is a complete rip off so avoid! If something seems to be to good to be true, beware as its either not or a big catch involved.

Just looking at how much money they are raking in on bids is leaving me dumbfounded. On a penny bid for a camera, the price was up to ~£21 meaning they had made £840 from bids, those cameras will be getting up to at least £150 before people give up.

I don't like it, but I give them a thumbs up for their business ingenuity. I've never seen a site nickle and dime people so effectively. Definitely will be seeing a lot of copy cats for this.
