Still, after watching that, you can't help but think "wow, the roof actually held up." I too was expecting some sort of crashing fall. I guess if the name had been "How to tow a car", I could see that happening. Sushigirl (great name from a great food, by the way) I think it is done this way in Japan because of how crowded the country is. A "normal" tow truck would require the space of about double it's original length when the tow bed is extended into loading position. That doesn't count for the length of the car being towed, which has to be "driven" up the tow ramp. This actually simplifies the process in my opinion.
