- Guess it's a miracle we DID survive all of this.....I can remember my mom letting me ride my bike across 4 lanes of traffic to go to the pool. No way I would let my kids do that....then again....back THEN....there wasn't that much traffic either. lol

- Born 1973 and this page is dumb. To think that taking risks and the improvements that have come are anything good is really ignorant thinking.

- The thing is, just to pick at point #1 as an example, Fetal Alcohol and Cigarettes did kill babies and cause birth defects, even before research discovered that it did. So, the conclusion is, we are now smarter than we were. But the point of this page is to celebrate the ignorance of the past, and mock the gains we have made. I just can't get behind that.
