disconcision discovered 56 months ago- I can't even remember far enough back to when I saw my first Mandelbug, but this IFS way of rendering the plain old 'set marks the first time in years a fractal visualization schema has actually stunned; some of these pictures are insane; look, now.... and don't miss the 'Buddhabrot Hologram' link. Also, in case you were too busy to read the title (I often am) there is some stuff about eastern mysticism or somesuch if you are into that kind of thing.

javamanjoe rated 8 weeks ago- BEAUTIFUL IMAGES WITH BUDDAHBROT FRACTAL METHOD. Thanks 'WideEyeWanderer'. The images on this page were all generated using a technique I developed to render the mandelbrot set. It's important to realize that it is not a different fractal from the mandelbrot set, but simply a different way of displaying it. Clicking on some of the images will take you to a normal rendering of the exact same area, but using the traditional mandelbrot technique. Note that even though the images resemble Hindu art, they were actually generated completely automatically, without any sort of human artistic intervention. When I first tried using the new technique, I had no idea what the images might look like and was completely surprised by the results.

Iain-Davidson rated 8 months ago- From the page: "For my color buddhabrot images the three different threshold values are analogous to the different frequencies of light which NASA combined into their beautiful false-color images. For the image below I used threshold values of 500, 5000, and 50000, and assigned them to the blue, green, and red channels respectively in order to generate images that most resemble the NASA nebula images. "

- Head explodingly beautiful Mandelbrot renders.

demonveen rated 9 months ago- Absolutely lovely rendering of the Mandelbrot set.

rubitred rated 13 months ago- When I fart, I generate a sense of fear that never existed until the people around me created it in a herd like fashion that reminds me of mangos in paisley
