Yes, I hate IE. I hate its poor support for web standards, I hate its user interface (IE7 is only a little better), I hate how slow it is compared to Firefox, and I hate it how a big company has managed to push such a bad browser so it's the most popular one today. But it's not totally Microsoft's fault the browser's security holes are exploited. The most popular one gets exploited more often, and if/when Firefox becomes the most popular browser, people will discover more security flaws in it as well.

This comment was written using firefox: I love open source, I even take part in some open source programming projects, I use lots and lots of open source applications BUT...I do not hate Microsoft (generally speaking I try not to hate period). I do use some MS application, for instance for my needs, no open source speardsheet is sufficient, Excel is. There is plenty of room for all sorts of companies, societies, communities, whatever. Choose what is best for you and let others be. Enough with this emotional bullshit.

I use opensource almost exclusively, advocate opensource, install opensource, provide support for opensource to many; but everybody has a right to choose, even if it is for a greedy monopolistic enterprise. I hate MS, does everybody?

I gave up on IE a couple years ago. There are much better alternatives out there now. Browsers that are actually developed on a regular basis, unlike IE. It's pretty sad that Microsoft waited 5 years before they actually added some features to their browser. The only reason they did update it is because they were going to get slaughtered otherwise. Goodbye IE! err wait, more like good riddance!!!

Retsambew have you tried opera. I use both. Opera is faster but firefox has more special features. Internet explorer is terrible. I can't imagine ever using it again. IE7 was so bad that they ended up rolling back to ie6 becaus eof its lack of stability.

Firefox is overrated. I hate it.
