This pretty stupid. Amazon.com is valued at less than $700 mil, but the company has quarterly revenue in the multiple billions. The calculator does not properly take into account whether it is an e-commerce site or not, and what type of products are sold. The value for my website came in at lower than my current annual ad revenue. Once you factor in the e-commerce revenue from my site, the valuation is not even 1/4 of annual revenue. The program does a better job of not overestimating the value of blogs that are not easily monetized, but that seems to be at the expense of undervaluing actual revenue driving sites.
