- Want to know what England is? Go see this page. I was looking for one last item to put into the England - Marmite - Sort of nostalgia series below, and I ran across this place. At first, looking through some of the nostalgia bits 'n' bobs, warm fuzzy feelings were threatening to overrun me. Then I got to the "not racialist" bits, and the chills set in... The very best and the very worst of what my country of birth has to offer, in a single site - and I'm sad to say, on the scales, just like the real thing, the very worst is weighing down the very best; smothering it, strangling it, shoving its head under the water until it's choking and gagging for air. I swear, it makes me want to cry, it makes me want to yell "I want the old times back", and scream, "Let the old times GO for fuck sake!", all in the same breath. Stick a fork in my arse... .

Don't get me wrong here - I'm UK born and bred (for the record, with parents and grandparents of Indian descent, who were also born and educated here - not that this fact should matter). I do enjoy nostalgia, and am proud of my country, England. However, there's a difference between celebrating where you're from and being a borderline-fascist fool, attempting to hide behind some sugar-coated webpage that pretends to be a nostalgia site. The fact that they quote and stream Enoch Powell's infamous mutterings says enough for me. To those who will immediately accuse me of hysteria: for Christ's sake, open your eyes and read between the lines. Or, even better, have a look here and see it spelled out for yourself. The site states: "This is not open to all sides of the political spectrum. The patriot owes his highest form of secular allegiance to a patriarch; to the nation state. Political correctness deems that all races and all cultures should live together happily in racial harmony. [...] "Multiculturalism" is a flawed concept..." Guess who their beloved poster boy is? Listed under a link entitled 'Rivers Of Blood Screensaver'? The man who is also an idol for the hateful National Front. Old bigots stuck in the shadow of an overrated past who are too blind to see that a nation either moves with the times or dies. Go away.

The Spitfire also called SUPERMARINE SPITFIRE, British aircraft that was one of the fastest and most effective single-seat fighters of World War II. It was highly effective as a defensive interceptor during the Battle of Britain.
