Kingdozer rated 4 weeks ago- I'm an avid gamer, I always was. I am also not a pirate, never have been. I don't even have a torrent client on any of my computers. That being said, Steam can SUCK MY BALLS! Unwanted updates requiring restarts (several hosing my computers). Having to wait 24 hours for response from support. Cannot give away unplayed or old games. Pirates fucked them once, and gamers wound up paying the price. All disguised in a "we're here for you" package. FUCK YOU GABE NEWELL, FUCK YOU RIGHT IN THE EAR!

- Automatic updating, access to its store and news, metascore ratings on all of there games, pre-purchases for savings, and built in text, talk, and status (including an popup overlay inside games) with "Friends". See Dingus's comment for the other side of the coin but i have never had any problems with steam and i whole-heartily recommend it.

- Thumbed up for ONE reason; they sell games for pretty good prices. However, the steam UI is GARBAGE, and buggy, and rarely does what it is supposed to. The games on the other hand are great. Love Valve games!

- Steam is not that bad anymore. I was angry before cause someone stole my old steam account with all my games.
