Nice summary of competencies. I wouldn't hire anyone who didn't think the criteria here were important.

Unix-centric (for example, I've never used CVS and have never heard of SVN; I have always used SourceSafe for source control, and have done fine, because I'm a Windows programmer). Much of the knowledge is irrelevant to a successful career as a programmer.

Why do I only fit in level 0 OR level 3 :P I kinda think I should get more balanced ... :/
