blueadept rated 7 weeks ago- Stories about Wal-Mart checking receipts. I no longer stop for receipt checking at places such as Costco, Futureshop, Bestbuy, and whatnot. I can't wait for one to detain me so that I can sue their asses to bits.

- Wal-Mart is so powerful that their store policy trumps the U.S. Constitution. You are never obligated to show a receipt while leaving a store to prove your purchase. I always do, because it's really not worth the legal hassle, but it would be nice if stores understood that they cannot detain people who choose not to show a receipt.
