eyeflare discovered 8 months ago- From the page: "Psychologists are skilled at inventing unusual tests of human thought and behaviour, but some research is pretty weird. Over the past few months I've been examining some of the weirdest studies around. There's research into psychic dogs, invasions from Mars, the antidepressant properties of semen, pigeon-guided missiles and men's urination. Have a read and then vote below for the study to be crowned PsyBlog's official 'weirdest' study."

we-were-wolf rated 7 months ago- hah awesome ideas here (semen research hmmm)

WYLFWT rated 7 months ago- This one takes the cake... From the page: "If there was ever research guaranteed to make women suspicious of male researcher's motivations it's this one. This study tests the idea that prostaglandins, a component of semen, may actually be useful in treating depression."

Haitek808 rated 7 months ago- very bizarre studies indeed

smellyknee rated 7 months ago- Some cool and interesting (and weird!) psychological studies. Really neat page.

Reea rated 7 months ago- now this is a more interesting and cool way to approach psychology. these are some weird studies conducted by bright minds. some of them are: fa cial similarity study. it stroke me as true...made me remember about my ex with whom i was for 4 years, my longest relationship...how every time we met someone after a longer period of time of not seeing them, they instantly noticed "hey, you two look like brother and sister" - it freaked me out. the second study, the one about inducted fear stroke me as very accurate and interesting. the last study i am going to mention here is the one about staring and it is definitely tried by me...i tried the experiment they are describing and it is working and you can read the results and trust me, it's fun and interesting.

BellingTheCat rated 7 months ago- I'm always up for a good psychology stumble that has a little bit of humor thrown in for good measure. I don't know if I have the balls to try the "staring" one on for size myself as encouraged though. Seems like the fast train to a punch in the face if you ask me.
